TaxQL API (1.0.0)
Section titled “TaxQL API (1.0.0)”Address-accurate U.S. sales tax lookups across all 50 states and DC, plus Canada — GST/HST/QST for all 13 provinces and territories, currently in v1.1 beta. Returns the applicable combined rate plus a per-jurisdiction breakdown, a confidence signal on every lookup, and historical rates via the as_of parameter.
Authentication. Include X-API-Key: <your-key> (or Authorization: Bearer <your-key>) on every request. Sign up at https://taxql.com/signup to get a key.
Free trial. 1,000 lookups over 14 days; a card is required but not charged during the trial.
